إيقاع يناسب عربة الطفل أهم من ملاحقة كل معلم
Amman is hilly and pavements are uneven, so a baby carrier beats a stroller downtown. Parks and museums in the west are easier.

Children’s Museum Jordan
Hands-on galleries on science, nature and the body in King Hussein Park. Closed on Tuesdays; winter hours run from 9am or 10am.

Old royal cars and a racing car or two; a hit with car-mad children.
Jabal Al-Qal’a
Amman Citadel
Open ground, ancient columns and the whole city spread out below. Go early or late for soft light.
Sweimeh
Floating at the Dead Sea
Resort beaches make the float easy. Keep water away from eyes and mouths, and limit time in the water for small children.

King Hussein Park
King Hussein Park
Amman’s biggest park, with lawns, playgrounds, walking paths and the Children’s Museum.
Ajloun, about 1½ hr by car
Ajloun Forest Reserve
Oak and pine woodland with short marked trails, a good family half-day from Amman.
Petra involves long walks on sand and steps; carry small children and plan short loops. Wadi Rum jeep tours suit all ages, but desert nights are cold, so pack warm layers.
