Kaymaklı Underground City

Tunnels, secret rooms and stone doors feel like an adventure. Better for small children than deeper Derinkuyu.

A short climb to the top of a giant rock with a huge view; hold small hands near the edges.

Avanos–Ürgüp road

Find the camel, the seal and the Madonna in the rocks; flat, free and right by the road.

Short paths among mushroom-shaped chimneys, with space to run.

Avanos riverside

Walk the Kızılırmak and cross the footbridge; good for a slow afternoon.

Balloon operators set their own minimum ages and heights. Ask before booking.
