Sarıyer, about 45 min by car from Taksim
Belgrad Forest
Istanbul’s largest forest, with a 6.5 km loop path around the Neşet Suyu area and Ottoman-era reservoirs. Weekday mornings are quietest; families picnic here at weekends.
