The Real Alcázar at opening time, lunch in Santa Cruz, then the cathedral and a climb up the Giralda’s ramps.
Day 2
Plaza & park
Plaza de España and María Luisa Park in the morning, the Torre del Oro and the river walk after lunch, sunset in Triana.
Day 3
Palaces & the Setas
Casa de Pilatos and Palacio de las Dueñas, the Encarnación market, then the Metropol Parasol walkway at dusk.
Day 4
Córdoba
A fast train to the Mezquita, the Jewish quarter and the Alcázar of the Christian Monarchs. Back for dinner.
Day 5
Granada
A long day for the Alhambra and the Albaicín, or stay a night. Book your Nasrid Palaces slot first, then the train.
Day 6+
Go further
Cádiz and the sea, Jerez and its horses, Carmona’s Roman tombs or Ronda’s gorge.
Honest thought: the Alcázar, the cathedral and the Alhambra all need timed tickets, so book them before you plan anything else. Days are shorter in November; aim to finish sightseeing by about 6pm and keep evenings for tapas and walking.
