Family fun in London

The world’s oldest scientific zoo, opened in 1828, with Penguin Beach, Land of the Lions and Gorilla Kingdom. All tickets must be booked in advance; it closes around 16:00 in winter and on Christmas Day.

Free entry with a timed ticket booked online, plus Wonderlab, a paid hands-on gallery where Explainers run live experiments and shows. Open daily 10:00–18:00, closed 24–26 December; Wonderlab closes at 16:00 on 8 December.
