Family fun in Singapore

An open-concept zoo opened in 1973, where moats and glass replace most cages. Open 9:00–18:00 (last entry 17:00) with no time slot needed; Bird Paradise and River Wonders are next door.

The world’s first nocturnal zoo, opened in 1994, explored on walking trails or by tram. Open 19:15 to midnight; choose a time slot when you book.

Seven zones, from Ancient Egypt and Far Far Away to Minion Land, which opened in 2025. Some rides close for maintenance, so check the schedule before you go.

Opened in July 2025 in place of S.E.A. Aquarium and about three times its size, with 22 zones from local mangroves to the open ocean and a 36-metre window on manta rays and zebra sharks.
