Good to know
Combine the Peloponnese
Nafplio, Mycenae and Epidaurus fit into one long day by car or tour; an overnight in Nafplio is more relaxed.
Ferries leave from Piraeus
Fast boats are quicker but pricier and more weather-dependent. Book tickets online and arrive early.
Autumn timetables
Island ferries run less often after the summer; plan your return boat before you go.
Shorter days
Sunset comes earlier through October. Plan to be back on the road before dark.
