Replicas, books and design gifts in the museum’s shopping area; a good place for quality souvenirs.
Cotton & linen
Egyptian cotton bedding and towels make practical gifts; buy from established stores and check labels for 100% Egyptian cotton.
Ask who made a piece and where. Check materials and shipping. Bargain politely only where invited; respect fixed prices in boutiques and artisan shops. In Khan el-Khalili, start well below the first price and walk away politely if it does not feel right.
