A walled village of painted houses and a tall gate tower. Its traditional market runs daily from 27 November to 20 December 2026 (10:00–18:30 weekdays, 10:00–19:00 at weekends). A weekend park-and-ride shuttle has run from Hunawihr; check 2026 times.

Birthplace of Albert Schweitzer, with a castle ruin above the river. Artisans’ chalets by the church and in the Arsenal courtyard, plus a farmers’ market: Friday to Sunday only, 27 November to 20 December 2026, 10:00–20:00. A free exhibition on childhood winters runs in the Arsenal.
