Beyond Interlaken

A 25-minute gondola from Grindelwald to 2,168 m. The Cliff Walk is open in winter and included in the ticket; the First Flyer and Glider also run. A full-fare return is about CHF 76, half with a Swiss Travel Pass or Half Fare Card.

A gondola from Grindelwald Terminal or a cable car from Wengen to 2,225 m, where Rita’s Speedway, a fast sledging run with many bends, starts. In good snow it runs all the way down to the village.

Car-free, quiet and perched on a cliff at 1,638 m. Ride up from Lauterbrunnen by cable car and train, then on to the Schilthorn if it is clear.
